Possibilities For Learning Color Mixing With This Scooby Doo Craft
Through this simple craft activity your kids will learn how to mix the three primary colors, red, yellow and blue to make the secondary colors brown, green, purple and orange. A practical and fun way to learn the Color Wheel.
Brown: mix red and green paint or blue and orange
Green: mix blue and yellow
Orange: mix red and yellow. If you want a lighter orange, use more yellow… darker, use more red
Purple: mix red and blue
Pink: add a little of the purple to white paint

How To Make This Fun and Colorful Scooby Doo Craft For Kids
Step 1
Tape off parts of your popsicle sticks. For example leave the bottom untaped, but tape the area right above it.
Step 2
Paint the uncovered area. Let dry.
Step 3
Untape the area above the painted and move it to the next section.
Step 4
Paint the new uncovered area and allow dry.
Step 5
Repeat steps 1-4 on each popsicle stick color coordination each popsicle stick.
Notes:
Each color should represent the Scooby Doo gang.
- Velma- Orange and red
- Shaggy- Red, green, peach
- Scooby- Brown, blue, and black
- Freddy- Blue, white, and yellow
- Daphne- Purple, white, orange
