Wild Child, which is aimed at kids 8 and under, is clean and aesthetically pleasing.
Wild Child’s Philosophy
Wild Child Play Co. was designed by Lindsay Forman Capecci, a mother and experienced special education teacher. The indoor play space aims to nurture children ages 6 months to 8 years. What this play space excels in is offering a variety of play options for younger children, such as play structures for active kids, imaginative play zones like a vet clinic, blocks for budding builders, and a padded play space for children 3 and under.
What I liked best about this play space was that it was fun in a variety of ways for my kids (ages 3, 6, and 8), and, for me, it was a clean, calm, and aesthetically pleasing environment. Even though we adults are paying, most play spaces feel like a nightmare to visit and I leave with a headache–but not this one! The number of kids is limited (which keeps the noise down), the area is smaller, there are comfortable seats for parents, and you can even get a coffee.
How Three Kids Explored Wild Child’s Indoor Play Space
The indoor play space was a blast for my kids. My 6-year-old could not get enough of the imaginative play opportunities. There was a beauty salon (where the girls were dolling up my husband), a vet clinic, a kitchen, a small gas station, and an ice cream shop. There are even an assortment of dress-up clothes.
My 8-year-old son enjoyed jumping on the mushroom stools (not sure if they were meant for that), climbing on the play structure while I timed him, building with blocks in the construction site area, and working with magnetic gears on the wall.
My 3-year-old loved the toddler area and felt privileged when her older siblings couldn’t go in, as it is only for children 3 and under. This padded space has giant foam shapes she enjoyed moving around, busy boards, and sequined pictures hanging on the wall that she could touch.

Wild Child’s Events and Programming
Wild Child Play Co. offers birthday parties, drop-in classes, and special events. On weekdays there are open play hours and you can pay for two hours of open play or purchase a family membership that will cover as much open play as your children desire! Since the place is brand new, the classes have not been posted on the website yet. The owner said they are still working out the schedule, so be sure to check back.
Birthday parties can be held on weekends or some weeknights and you get the entire play space for a two-hour private party for 20 kids. You can choose different levels of party packages. The party room is fresh and fun, and having the place to yourself is an attractive offering.
