Let’s get messy and make a shaving cream marble painting!
What happens when you mix shaving cream and paint? You’ll find out with this messy shaving cream marble painting that kids will love.
We love painting with shaving cream! You can spray it on a table and let the kids get messy without any stains! We also use shaving cream to make our paint last longer. By mixing tempera paint into a cup of shaving cream, your paint will go so much farther. Depending on how much shaving cream you add to your paint, you can use the paint mixture for finger painting too. You can also add glue to the shaving cream paint mixture to make puffy paint.

Instructions for shaving cream marble painting
Step 1
Spray shaving cream onto your pan. You can use a spatula or your fingers to spread it in a thin layer over the pan.
Step 2
Drizzle tempera paint over the shaving cream. You can add as many colors as you want. You can even add them in a messy format like we did, or do the colors in sections.
Step 3
Swirl the colors together using your fingers! This is so messy, but so much fun. Make sure you have extra paper towels on standby.
Step 4
Gently place your paper on top of the shaving cream and paint. Use your fingers to gently press the paper down a little to make sure the page is covered in paint. Carefully lift the paper up and you should have residual shaving cream on it. You can either let it dry overnight, or blot the page with a paper towel.
