La La Land: Getting There and Layout
La La Land staff and its owner, Christina, welcome you to the indoor playground with smiles. You and your child are immediately given a snack and drink for that inevitable moment when your little says, “I’m hungry!” The gate to the indoor playground is smartly placed at the back of the venue, far from the front doors. Just outside the gated indoor playground is the bathroom, equipped with a changing table, wipes, and even diapers. There is also a large area for eating the snacks you were provided upon entering.

Fun Things to Do with Babies at La La Land
One of La La Land’s fantastic features is its lack of clutter, providing a safe space for babies to explore each activity without fear of being trampled on by an older preschooler. Crawlers have Montessori stackers, like a wooden rainbow, rings, and sensory blocks, to play with, as well as wooden activity centers. A car table allows babies to scoot cars along roads pictured on the table. Caregivers of babies just starting to toddle will love the multiple walkers that are available. The ample space is also a safe area for babies to practice crawling and walking.

Fun Things to Do with Toddlers and Preschoolers at La La Land
The highlight for many toddlers and preschoolers at La La Land is the large CedarWorks playground. The playset’s many cool features include two slides of differing heights, hideaway holes and tunnels, and appropriately-sized monkey bars. The slides are a big hit, and even babies can get in on the action with a little help from a caregiver or older sibling. But be careful, those slides are deceivingly fast! Thankfully, there is plenty of runway at the bottom.
Pretend play is another big feature of the indoor playground at La La Land. There are two buildings, a cafe, and a veterinary hospital. Both are sufficiently stocked with toys for little ones to imagine and play with. There is also a grocery store checkout and play kitchen. A train table rounds out the larger play stations for toddlers and preschoolers.
