6. The Irish Free State was established in 1922 marking Ireland’s initial separation from the United Kingdom.

7. Ireland is often referred to as the “Emerald Isle” due to its lush green landscapes.
8. In the whole world, there are an estimated 1.2 million speakers of the Irish language.
9. Irish culture is rich in traditions, folklore, music, dance, and literature, with notable figures like Oscar Wilde, Bram Stoker, and James Joyce.
10. Trinity College, located in Dublin, is one of Ireland’s oldest and most prestigious universities.
11. English and Irish are the official languages on the island, with the English language being the most predominant one.
