Cupcake liner crafts are easy and fun for kids of all ages. Using a green cupcake liner to make a turtle was a natural choice, but my little one also enjoyed margin purple, pink, and blue turtles. This simple craft is perfect for rainy afternoons at home, or an easy craft for an Ocean unit in preschool!

Supplies Needed For Turtle Craft
Directions To Make This Awesomely Simple Turtle Craft
Step 1
Invite kids to flatten their cupcake liner. Glue it to a piece of blue construction paper.
Step 2
Draw and cut out 4 small circles, 1 medium sized circle and 1 pointy oval shape. Glue the shape to the side of the cupcake liner to make a head, legs, and tail for the turtle.
Step 3
Press 2 small wiggly eyes to the turtle’s head. Use a black felt tip marker to draw a nose and mouth on the turtle.
Step 4
Draw an under water scene on the blue paper with crayons. My children drew bubbles, waves, sand, pebbles, and plants.

- green cupcake liner
- green construction paper
- small wiggly eyes
- black felt tip pen
- blue construction paper
- crayons
- glue
Instructions
- Flatten your cupcake liner.
- Glue it to the piece of blue construction paper.
- Draw 4 small circles, 1 medium sized circle, and a pointy oval on green construction paper.
- Cut each of the shapes out carefully.
- Glue the shapes to the size of the cupcake liner making the turtles: head, legs, and tail.
- Press 2 small wiggly eyes onto the turtles head.
- Use a black marker to draw a nose and a mouth onto your turtle.
- Use crayons to draw an underwater scene on the blue paper.
