Preschool Snowflake Craft
This snowflake craft for kids is perfect for most small kids. This would make a great kindergarten craft and is one of our many snowflake craft ideas for preschoolers. With adult supervision, I’d even say these tinfoil snowflakes would be great snowflake crafts for toddlers as well.

Supplies Needed To Make Snowflakes
How To Make Easy Snowflake Craft
Step 1
After gathering supplies, invite children to begin tearing off small bits of aluminum foil.
Step 2
Then begin gluing them down to the yardstick in the shape of a snowflake. Snowflakes have 6 equal sides, so you can sneak in a little science and math lesson as well!
- Some kids may wish to begin with a small ball of foil in the middle of their snowflake, especially since all snowflakes begin with a small bit of dust in the middle (more science fun!).
- The snowflakes look interesting when the shiny side of the foil is alternated with the dull side.
Step 3
Make smaller snowflakes by dipping their finger into white paint to dot smaller snowflakes all around their large, shiny one.
Snowflake Craft Variation
Other children may wish to cut out their snowflake, leaving a small border around the outside. Hang and enjoy!

There are so many different ways to make this art project your own.
Not every snowflake looks the same, so it is okay that every one looks different.
While talking about snowflakes and how they’re different, this would also be a good time to remind your little one that they are special just like these beautiful snowflakes. Everyone is beautiful in their own way.
