Souper Jenny – Buckhead
Souper Jenny serves up a tasty range of healthy soups, salads, and sandwiches for breakfast and lunch at multiple locations throughout the A-T-L. However, the Buckhead spot, located inside the Atlanta History Center, has a toy kitchen to keep the kids amused while you finish your coffee.
Every Mellow Mushroom is a feast for the eyes, including the East Cobb location pictured here.
Mellow Mushroom – Roswell
Mellow Mushroom is THE pizza spot for hungry families. But the Roswell location on Woodstock Road is especially perfect for kids, with an expansive lawn where patrons can play games under the oak tree, sit under the mushroom canopies, and just run around. Plus, the interior, with bright colors and cool art installations, is another great thing to focus on.
Downwind Restaurant and Lounge – Chamblee
Watch airplanes take off and land at this Atlanta restaurant adjacent to Peachtree Dekalb Airport. The restaurant serves up kid-friendly meals and offers plenty for plane-obsessed little ones to watch. There’s also an outdoor playground.
Fish Tales – Flowery Branch
Enjoy this lakeside restaurant with the family at Lake Lanier. Fish Tales has a giant sandbox for kids to play in, either while they wait to get their food or after while parents relax. This Atlanta restaurant also offers a kids’ menu, high chairs/booster seats, and changing tables in both men and women restrooms.
Food Halls – Multiple Locations
Atlanta food halls are popping up all over the place, and they make the perfect dining options for families. These food halls offer multiple stalls, so picky eaters will be satisfied with the options (including tasty desserts and sweets). Many of these food halls also feature awesome outdoor spaces to play and run.
Kids can get out their energy with a game of bocce at Howell’s Kitchen and Bar while waiting for food.
Howell’s Kitchen and Bar – Buckhead
At Howell’s Kitchen and Bar, kids can have fun in at the bocce ball court while you wait for the food to arrive.
Chick-Fil-A – Multiple Locations
Hometown favorite Chick-Fil-A has several locations around town with nice play areas, including a traditional spot in Glenwood Place and The Dwarf House in Hapeville. These restaurants are closed Sundays.
Andretti Indoor Karting & Games – Roswell
Andretti is an indoor entertainment center with exciting activities for older children—from karting to virtual reality games and a ropes course. And when you need a break from playing, the restaurant offers a full menu of food and drink.
Lucky’s Burger and Brew – Roswell
Bring your kids and your four-legged children to Lucky’s Burger and Brew! The Roswell location is especially welcoming to families of all shapes and sizes, with a huge menu to satisfy everyone. Lucky’s also hosts fun live music events and holiday activities.
Vintage Pizzeria – Dunwoody
Vintage Pizzeria has three locations, but we love the one in Dunwoody because of its size and two separate dining areas: one is family friendly and the other is reserved for adults seeking a quieter dining ambiance.
