Restaurants for Mother’s Day Brunch in Houston
1. Del Frisco’s Grille – The Woodlands
Mother’s Day brunch selections at Del Frisco’s are served till 2pm, and you can order their special strawberry cocktail and delicious dishes like the crab cake benedict. Reservations can be booked online or over the phone.
2. Brenner’s Steakhouse on the Bayou – River Oaks
Treat Mom to a Mother’s Day meal she won’t soon forget at Brenner’s on the Bayou. Choose meal options from the restaurant’s signature menu and different brunch features, such as the Texas breakfast with smoked brisket or the Chilaquiles with beer can pulled chicken. Let Mom indulge in a brunch mimosa to make the morning even more special, or order food to go and dine from the comfort of Mom’s own home. Brunch is served 11am – 2 pm; reservations are strongly encouraged.
3. Coppa Osteria – Upper Kirby
With fresh ingredients and unique dishes, Coppa Osteria is a slam dunk for Mother’s Day, whether you’re dining in or picking up a meal. Choose from delectable menu items that includes specialties like warm marinated olives, lobster and crabmeat cannelloni, and housemade pizzas, or pick one of the restaurant’s weekly specials. 4. Tapester’s Grill – Bellaire
This casual restaurant is great for the whole family, and its menu features favorites like honey buttermilk fried chicken sandwiches, stickee waffles, huevos rancheros, and brunch tacos. Mom can also sip on signature brunch cocktails and mimosas over her meal. Sunday brunch begins at 8:30am and ends at 2:30pm.
5. The Annie Cafe and Bar – Downtown
Who doesn’t love a brunch that entertains the kids as well. The Annie Cafe and Bar has kid entertainment covered with a balloon artist for the kids! Plus, each mom will receive a complimentary mimosa or bellini to make her feel extra special. The brunch menu has a great range of seafood, salads and steaks for you to enjoy.

6. Moody Gardens – Galveston
Dine on a delicious brunch buffet at the Moody Gardens Hotel, featuring an omelet station, seafood tower, and more. Mom could then treat herself to a day getting pampered at the in-house spa and exploring the pyramids with the family, or even enjoy the Mother’s Day overnight stay package which includes use of the spa. Reservations can be made online or over the phone. Brunch is served from 11am-3:00pm.
7. Truluck’s – The Woodlands & Uptown
Treat Mom to a bragworthy lunch that features all the favorites from Truluck’s menu that includes fish, seafood dishes, and steaks. Mother’s Day specials are served from 12pm-9pm, and reservations can be made online. The Young Adults menu includes kid-favorite options at a good price point.

8. Snooze – Multiple Houston locations
Snooze may be on the (much more) casual side than our previous suggestions, but its menu is equally unique and delicious. You’ll find plenty of egg options, from the breakfast pot pie to Juan’s breakfast tacos, as well as benedicts, sandwiches, and more. There are also vegan options available. Snooze doesn’t take reservations, but you can join the waitlist online. Luckily, Snooze opens at 6:30am! Find the location closest to you.
9. Vic & Anthony’s – Downtown
If you’re looking for fancy this Mother’s Day, Vic & Anthony’s is the place to go. Their menu includes oysters, quail, lobster, crab, fish, steaks, lamb, and chicken. Reservations can be made online and they are open 5 – 10pm.
10. Backstreet Cafe – Montrose
Lounge at Backstreet Cafe’s patio for Mother’s Day brunch, which runs from 10am-3pm. The three-course menu is $56 per person and $15 for children. In addition to offering tasty options like squash carrot muffins, heirloom tomato salad, soft shell crab benedict, and flourless chocolate cake, the restaurant is also featuring live jazz music by Bob Chadwick for the holiday.

11. The Aquarium – Downtown & Kemah
Take Mom on an underwater dining adventure by indulging in the brunch buffet at The Aquarium from 11am. The meal includes a delicious spread of food and activities that are sure to entertain the whole family. Call for reservations.

12. a’Bouzy – Downtown
Feeling bougie this Mother’s Day? Then a’Bouzy is your place. The brunch menu at a’Bouzy is serving up some delicious French-inspired appetizers and entrees, like Balsamic Infused Burrata, Brioche French Toast, and Heirloom Tomato Gallete and Egg. Brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 10-3.
13. Dish Society – Multiple Houston locations
Enjoy brunch at one of Dish Society’s four Houston locations (if you’re going with kids, the Katy location would be great because it’s located near the green space at La Centerra). This farm-to-table eatery boasts clean and local ingredients, and its menu includes a variety of egg dishes as well as indulgent favorites like shrimp and grits and Nutella French toast. 14. The Toasted Yolk Cafe – Multiple Houston locations
Another great option for casual dining is The Toasted Yolk Cafe. Breakfast begins at 7am with a menu of both comfort classics and unique finds, like churro-style donuts, the “yolkwich” breakfast sandwich, and other specialty egg dishes. Check the list of locations for one near you.

15. Fielding’s Wood Grill – The Woodlands
