1. Puttshack – Seaport
Puttshack combines an upscale restaurant with an indoor mini golf course. That means it’s perfect for a round of mini golf in any kind of weather! The menu is full of kid faves like sandwiches, flatbreads, and more. The mini-golf is top-notch, too! Reservations can be made on the restaurant’s site, and you can book private events for groups of 20 or more. Puttshack is best for kids 6 and up. The location opens daily at 11am. The location is 21+ after 8pm.
Project PUTT! in Malden offers a wild indoor mini golf experience just outside Boston.
2. Project PUTT! – Malden
Just steps from the Orange Line, Malden’s Project PUTT! promises a series of mind-bending putting challenges. Your family may just flip for the “mad scientist” theme to this kid-friendly 12-hole indoor course. Project PUTT! is open Wednesday through Sunday and offers a discount on additional rounds played the same day. Soft drinks are available in the lobby but food (and gum) are not allowed inside.

One of our favorite indoor play spaces for Boston kids, Apex Entertainment comes pretty close to having everything under one roof: bowling, go-karts, sports simulators, and an 18-hole indoor mini golf course. And that’s on top of a full restaurant, laser tag, a ropes course…The indoor mini golf course is on the fourth floor, so you probably won’t get the kids in and out with just a round on the agenda. Make it an afternoon, and be sure to treat your family to a giant pretzel!
4. Aloha Mini Golf Glow – Peabody
New England’s premier Hawaiian-themed indoor mini golf course has a Boston-area location at the Northshore Mall. This mall has long been one of our go-to spots for indoor places to play, and Aloha Mini Golf Glow, complete with its vibrant blacklighted colors, makes this another spot for getting out of the elements and into some fun!
5. Monster Mini Golf – Norwood
This whimsical indoor course has a touch of Halloween to its decor. Between some of the spookier obstacles and the blacklit decor, smaller children might find the course too intense. But bigger kids will have a blast. And Norwood’s Monster Mini Golf also has an arcade for a full day of fun!
6. Planet X Mini Golf Glow – Saugus
Located at the Square One Mall in Saugus, Planet X Mini Golf Glow features out of this world fun in a climate-controlled space. Admission covers three rounds on this 18-hole, glow-in-the-dark course. Rumor has it NASA trains its astronauts here. At least they oughta…
7. Kidz Wurld – North Attleboro
The par-36 mini-golf course at North Attleboro’s Kidz Wurld is challenging enough to keep even the most serious mini-golfers engaged. This indoor fun center also respects the nap-takers of the world—and their parents; admission is good all day, from 9:30am to 8pm, so you can leave and come back. With an on-site arcade, Kidz Wurld makes a great spot for a birthday party! Kidz Wurld offers monthly and seasonal passe, as well as 10-visit packages; all are available for online purchase.
Trombetta’s Farm has an indoor mini golf course with abundant sunlight.
8. Trombetta’s Farm – Marlborough
The course at Trombetta’s Farm is open all year for some of the best indoor mini golf fun in the Boston area. Trombetta’s also has agarden center, which might explain the greenhouse-like course. Here, fun is always in bloom. You might not be able to wait for all 18 holes before hitting the homemade ice cream (and frozen yogurt, soft serve and more!). With Trombetta’s Farm and Apex Entertainment, Marlborough might be the Boston area’s indoor mini golf epicenter!
9. Monster Mini Golf – Seekonk
Like its sister location in Norwood, the blacklit, semi-spooky atmosphere at Seekonk’s Monster Mini Golf could prove to be a bit much for very little ones. Older kids will flock to the arcade, and a few might request a party here for their next birthday. Across the street, Sundaes will scratch that ice cream itch any time of year.

10. Prodigy – Easthampton, MA
Prodigy is an alcohol-free gamers’ paradise in Easthampton’s Eastworks Mill. This is a spot for serious players, featuring retro video games, skeeball, pool, board games, and 18 holes of “very challenging mini golf.” Prodigy isn’t a space for smaller kids. The location is 13-plus, and kids under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult. Bring your gamer face and $15 for unlimited play.
11. Nomad’s Adventure Quest – South Windsor, CT
One of Mommy Poppins’ favorite Connecticut attractions for families, Nomad’s Adventure Quest sports over 65,000 square feet of action, including an indoor mini golf course. There’s also bowling, a ropes course, arcade games, and enough fun to fill multiple days! The mini-golf course has a prehistoric theme, with cavemen and dinosaurs. Close-toed shoes are required. Nomad’s is definitely one of the most Fun Indoor Birthday Party Places for Kids in Connecticut, but it’s also perfect for a day trip from Boston.
12. The Cave – Bethel, CT
The Cave in Bethel, Connecticut, has all manner of glow-in-the-dark fun, from laser tag and bumper cars, to an indoor mini golf course beneath the Cave’s ropes course. There’s even mini-bowling if your up for some more mini-entertainment! After you’ve worked up an appetite mini-golfing, pop across the street for a burger and a milkshake (or just a sundae) at the Stony Hill Diner.
13. Lessard Lanes – Plainville, CT
Plainville’s Lessard Lanes promises year-round fun at the indoor mini golf course. With bowling, an arcade, and a snack bar on the premises, the fun doesn’t have to stop at the 18th hole. The course features a flowing stream and waterfall. The “wheel of mischief” puts a challenging spin on the putting.

14. Aloha Mini-Golf Glow – Manchester, NH
Located in Manchester’s Mall of New Hampshire, this glow in the dark indoor mini golf course has a tropical feel to its 18 holes of challenging fun. The mall also has a Dave and Busters for more indoor amusement. And Chunky’s Cinema Pub nearby is a family-friendly movie theater where you can enjoy a meal while taking in a flick.
15. Blackbeard’s Cove Adventure Golf – Claremont, NH
Blacklights and pirates…if that doesn’t spell mini golf, I don’t know what does. Maybe disco balls and ninjas? Until Blackbeard’s gets around to the disco ninjas, the kids can enjoy 18 yo-ho-holes of piratical fun. Connecticut River Valley residents and visitors alike can enjoy a friendly round or a lively birthday party at Blackbeard’s Cove, open Sunday through Wednesday. The venue has an attached restaurant, and the menu is a kid’s dream. Burgers, tenders, pizza, and all kinds of mac and cheese.
16. Funspot – Laconia, NH
The largest arcade in the world, Funspot boasts a 5,500-square foot indoor mini golf course. Many of the course’s obstacles and decorations were repurposed from Funspot’s original 1964 mini golf course! Funspot is open year-round, with the summer (especially motorcycle week in June) marking high season for this Lake Winnipesaukee destination. But with indoor mini golf, 600 video games, kiddie rides, and more, Funspot is worth the trip any time.
17. FunZone 2.0 Family Fun Complex – Jeffersonville, VT
Vermont’s Smuggler’s Notch is another one of Mommy Poppins’ favorite destinations. Not only is it one of the top 10 New England Ski Resorts that Cater to Families, it’s home to FunZone 2.0, an indoor “Family Fun Complex” complete with laser tag, an arcade, an obstacle course, and a cafe. Oh, and lest we forget, there’s an indoor mini golf course, as well as attractions for some of the younger kddos.

18. Jungle Adventure 3-D – Old Orchard Beach, ME
Maine is full of family fun, from the Western Mountains to the Downeast Coast. The beaches and restaurants from Ogunquit to Portland draw Bostonians for quick day tips and family vacations.
