Conveniently located just a few minutes north of Houston, Old Time Christmas Tree Farm provides saws and measuring sticks so families can find the perfect Texas Grown Pine or Cypress Christmas Tree. Pre-cut trees, garlands, and wreaths are also available. And don’t miss Christmas at Old Time Christmas Tree Farm, a ticketed event that includes a train ride through the Christmas tree fields, a petting zoo, a giant slide and bounce house, and photos with Santa. Leashed pets are welcome and well-behaved pets can ride with guests on the train and hayride.
2. Dewberry Farms – Brookshire
Take a wagon ride to the Christmas Tree Forest and pick a perfect tree from almost 40 acres of Leyland and Murray varieties of prime Christmas trees. Guests can cut trees down themselves with provided hand saws, or team members at Dewberry Farms can help. There are a few attractions available while the Christmas Tree Farm is open, but guests can also stay for A Berry Merry Christmas which includes 2 dazzling lights shows, over 40 kid-friendly rides and attractions, and 2 million holiday lights. Admission to the tree farm is free, but A Berry Merry Christmas at Dewberry Farms is a ticketed event.
3. Spring Creek Growers – Magnolia
Enjoy a hayride to a field of beautiful Virginia Pine and Leyland Cypress Christmas Trees. Guests are provided with a hand saw and measuring pole, and once the perfect tree is found, the team at Spring Creek Growers will help load and tie it to your vehicle. Pre-cut trees are also available, and for an environmentally friendly option, living trees in containers can be purchased and planted after Christmas. On the weekends, Santa visits Spring Creek Growers, and families can take photos with him using personal cameras for $12.
4. Holiday Acres – Manvel
Providing a saw and everything you need to find and cut down your perfect tree, Holiday Acres offers a wide variety of Christmas trees including Virginia Pine, Leyland Cypress, Murray Cypress, and Arizona Cypress. 5. High Star Christmas Tree Farm – Manvel

Included in the visit to purchase a tree are free parking and admission, a maze, picnic tables, wagon rides to the fields, and visits with Santa. 6. Oh What Fun It Is Christmas Tree Farm – Willis
Oh What Fun It Is Tree Farm is a family-oriented, country experience where guests can find and cut the perfect Christmas tree from 15 acres of Virginia Pines. Entry is free, and in addition to tree cutting there is a petting zoo, hay rides, and shopping at the farm.
7. Tanglewood Christmas Trees – Bryan
Tanglewood Christmas Trees is home to one of the largest living Christmas trees in Texas. They also have 30 acres of Virginia Pines to pick from to cut your perfect tree for the Holidays. You can take a hayride out to the fields, and enjoy activities such as duck races and cornhole. Hot cocoa, apple cider, and cookies are also available.
8. Double Creek Farms – Livingston
Virginia Pines and Carolina Sapphires are available at Double Creek Farms, and all the tools needed to pick out and cut the perfect Christmas tree are provided. Guests can enjoy hayrides out to the fields, as well as other activities including train rides, a bounce house, and fire pits for roasting marshmallows. There are also concessions and a gift shop at the farm.
