Swing by the awe-inspiring shark exhibit and enjoy the rest of the beachfront attractions at the New York Aquarium, which has finally fully reopened following the devastating damage from Hurricane Sandy and ensuing renovations.

Chelsea Waterside Playground is an action-packed play space on the riverfront. Take note: Due to ongoing construction, it may be closed intermittently, though care is being taken to minimize disruptions to this kid-friendly romping spot.
