{Squeal} I absolutely love this Step 2 Outdoor Playhouse…and it is wheelchair accessible! The only problem was that last year when we first wrote about it, it became unavailable really quickly.

Favorite Outdoor Playhouse for Kids
Kids’ outdoor playhouses are probably the greatest toy you can have in your yard, and now they are getting even better.
Step 2 has launched the All Around Playtime Patio with Canopy Playhouse, a wheelchair accessible outdoor playhouse for kids, so all kids can enjoy playing together.
Step 2 Outdoor Playhouse
This pavilion style playhouse features double swinging doors to allow for a wider opening to enter the playhouse, an open bottom to make placing it on concrete easier, and a vaulted canopy roof to allow for extra clearance.
Inside is nearly 4 feet by 4 feet of open space to allow plenty of room for kids to play.
Playhouse Toys for Kids
The playhouse also features three separate play areas filled with toys for outdoor play:
- A kitchen area with a play grill, pots, pans, and utensils
- A sand and water table area, with the water area doubling as a “kitchen sink” or for splashing fun with included water toys
- A snack table area similar to a serving bar for more pretend play or room for other projects.
Wheelchair Accessible Playhouse Design
The layout and design makes the playhouse accessible for children in wheelchairs, with room for the chairs inside and out.
The surface areas of the grill, bar, and sand and water areas feature cutouts below to be able to pull a chair close.
Inclusive play is so important for kids and this awesome playhouse fits that idea perfectly.
The Step2 All Around Playtime Patio with Canopy Playhouse is available on Amazon for $141.99, with free shipping, making it comparable to other playhouses on the market.
