Supplies Needed for Marble Maze Construction
How To Make A Marble Maze
Step 1
First you need to cut away the front panel out of your box so it has four sides and a bottom.
Step 2
Next, tape together or create additional cardboard security so that you have four even sides. Cover all of the sides in duct tape for decoration.
Step 3
Next cut a piece of construction paper to fit the bottom of the box and glue it in place.
Step 4
Now the fun part: create your maze!
- Cut straws to different lengths.
- Glue the straw pieces to the bottom of the box. The straws need to be situated far enough away from each other to allow a marble to fit through the spaces and make it all the way to the other end.
- Let your little engineer experiment before the glue dries.
Step 5
Let your creating dry and get ready to play…
- Simply place a marble at one end or corner of your box.
- Tilt the box to guide the marble through the maze to the other side.
