Panda Fest Atlanta: Grin and Bear the Fun
Having fun at Panda Fest is a black and white issue (get it) —it’s a guaranteed party! Atlantans can agree that we LOVE pandas, literally…who else is heartbroken after Zoo Atlanta returned the city’s last four giant pandas back to China?! So why not get into the spirit with this inaugural spring festival celebrating all that is Asian food and culture?
Ticket holders will take a culinary journey through Asia, with a line-up of more than 100 food stalls and food trucks; choose from over 300 types of tasty foods and drinks representing countries like China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, and more. While filling your tummies, families can visit the market fair with 20 vendors selling crafts and clothing, as well as traditional calligraphy art, artisanal T-shirts, and much more.
Besides the great food and products, Panda Fest will feature live cultural performances and craft demonstrations, with amazing examples like lion dance shows, theatrical acts, K-pop dance routines, sugar painting, paper cutting, and more.
If kids prefer to play instead of shop, Panda Fest Atlanta has fun options for the under-12 crowd. It’s panda mania with themed attractions, including a 15-foot inflatable panda, a panda bounce ring, and panda-themed treats and toys. And everyone with an entry ticket (kids and adults) receives two free gifts: one customized panda pin with Atlanta features and a panda headband.
