Lamaze International Announces 2024 Board of Directors
Lamaze International, a trusted global leader in childbirth education for more than sixty years, announced its 2024 Board of Directors, who bring knowledge, skills, and great passion to the birthing community.
The Lamaze Board of Directors will be led by President Jessica Deeb, MS, RN, WHNP-BC, IBCLC, LCCE, who takes the reins from the immediate past president, Kacy Reams Cutler.
Deeb is joined by Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educators (LCCEs), who will serve in the following capacities:

- Naima Beckles, MA, LCCE, CD, Secretary/Treasurer
- Shauna Lively, RN, EdD, LCCE, Director at Large

- Trinisha Williams, LM, CM, MPH, LCCE, FACCE, LC, Director at Large
- Leslie Arnott, LCCE, Director at Large
- Meghan Bardwell, MSN-CNM, LCCE, CLC, Director at Large
- Rachelle Oseran, BA, LCCE, FACCE, ACE, Director at Large
- Katie Rohs, CD(PALS), LCCE, Director at Large
“There was unprecedented interest not only in board service but also in volunteering with Lamaze International. We are encouraged by the renewed commitment of our childbirth educator community to the Lamaze mission,” said Lamaze President Jessica Deeb, MS, RN, WHNP-BC, IBCLC, LCCE. “We are excited to welcome the newest at-large directors Rachelle Oseran, BA, LCCE, FACCE, ACE, and Katie Rohs, CD(PALS), LCCE.”
As the Lamaze International Board of Directors works to promote its mission of advancing safe and healthy birth and early parenting through evidence-based childbirth education and advocacy, it will tackle strategic discussions and planning to address maternal infant health and continue to promote evidence-based childbirth education.
