Summer is really kicking in now, and we can tell, because this weekend is absolutely packed with great family activities in and around Boston. In Salem, the annual Arts Festival takes place this weekend. It’s a great chance to explore a very cool downtown and see unique artwork and live performances. In Foxboro, Gillette hosts some classic Monster trucks. See fan faves like Grave Digger and Megalodon–and some new adrenaline-pumping creations–at Monster Jam. And, speaking of adrenaline, Boston’s Waterfront will be the setting this weekend for the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series. Competitors will dive from a platform atop the ICA, into the waters of Boston Harbor! If you prefer to experience a more contained and refined adrenaline rush, the Boston Pops performs the score at a screening of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back at Symphony Hall this weekend.
