1)Handle Them With Care

2)Clean Your Environment

Babies love to play around their environment and in the process, put objects in their mouths. So, it is important for parents to ensure that their environments are always clean, so their infants do not end up picking up germs which can be harmful to them. Parents should also try to keep their hands clean before handling their babies.

3)Swaddle

Swaddling is a technique used to keep a baby warm by wrapping him or her in a blanket. Mothers can swaddle their babies in order to keep them warm and shielded from cold which causes pneumonia.

4)Give Your Baby a Proper Bathe

Firstly, you fill a bowl with warm water and then you wrap your baby in a towel, get a clean washcloth and dip it into the warm water, use it to wipe your baby’s eyes. Do same for your baby’s nose and ears. Then, add a little soap to the cloth, wash the baby’s face with it and then the rest of the body, with keen attention to the underarms, neck area, behind the ears and genitals. In the first year, you can bathe your baby twice or thrice daily.

Your baby’s dentition is also a crucial part that should be well taken care of. Ensure you brush their teeth and their tongue properly in order to prevent mouth thrush, as well as to give them fresh breath and sparkling, white teeth.

Your baby’s diaper should be changed regularly and this means you must have a sufficient supply of diapers.
